Location & Shipping

This vehicle is in Japan at the moment and if you would like to buy it, we can have it shipped in the next available boat. Depending on various factors, it takes about 4 to 6 weeks and sometimes more, to get a shipment booking. Then it takes 22 days for the ship to arrive in Jamaica from Japan. But unfortunately, the space availability on the ship "Seaboard Sun" to bring the vehicle to Cayman, is a bit unpredictable and sometimes they bring the vehicle the very week it arrives in Jamaica and sometimes it takes them weeks and weeks to do that.

Vehicle Condition

Upon careful inspection of all the images and data available, this vehicle appears to be in excellent condition. Yet, it may have some minor signs of normal wear and tear, but all or most of these could be easily fixed, repaired, buffed out, polished or made to disappear. If it receives any damage during transportation or shipment or if it has any damage that is visible right away and if you tell me - "I can't drive this vehicle with that thing there" - then I will fix it, if it can be done.

Payments

You will pay around 35-38% first to purchase the vehicle and have it shipped. Then another 35-38% about 3-4 weeks after the vehicle is shipped. And then around 15-20% when we submit the documents for the customs clearance and the balance after you receive the vehicle.

First Payment CI$5200. Second Payment CI$7800. Third Payment CI$1700.

Warranty

Many of the used vehicles available for sale in Japan are being sold simply because the vehicle has some serious mechanical problems or it has very high mileage or they had an accident with it and most of these vehicles look very nice in pictures and are available for very low prices. And sometimes even good vehicles will have few little issues and problems here and there, which are not always cheap to fix.

When the vehicle arrives here, we will thoroughly inspect the engine, transmission, a/c system, brakes system and all other systems and components and everything else and under the vehicle and fix any and all mechanical problems it may have. No matter whether it cost few hundred dollars or several thousand dollars. If the tires fail the government inspection, we will put in new tires. If the battery is dead, we will put in a live one. Sometimes, it is not possible to fix certain cosmetic or non-critical issues.

Service

After all the mechanical work is done, we will change the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, the a/c or cabin filter and top up all other fluids. Next, we will carefully clean the engine and thoroughly wash/clean the interior, upholstery and the seats to remove any cigarette or any other odour. And finally we will buff and polish and wax and/or ceramic coat the exterior of the vehicle, making it look and feel smooth, glossy and shiny, like a new vehicle or maybe even better. This entire service, not including the mechanical work, will cost about $1000-1400 at a garage and detailing shop.

We will also take care of the Insurance (if you want us to), government inspection for road-worthiness, licensing, registration, get the tag, title and plates and anything else that will need to be done. The cost of everything mentioned above is included in the price, except for the Insurance and Licensing, which will cost roughly about $1100-1200 per year.
